Year 1985 saw the launch of Dunk as the shoe for that basketball buffs. They named it Nike Dunk SB. They initially targeted just the basketball users. Even the technology embedded was with a view to support the sporty features of the boot. In the year 1998, the dunk range of trainers was re launched as the fashion icon amongst the youth. As compared to the Nike’s original shoes, the Dunk regarding Nike was basically launched as a smaller profile sandal. But the sole was lighter compared to the parent shoes or boots.
